Becoming a Trainer

Training doctors and developing the future of general practice can be incredibly rewarding. If you’re interested in becoming a GP trainer or a clinical supervisor for Foundation Doctors in general practice, have a look at the deanery website here: https://kss.hee.nhs.uk/primary-care/gp-trainers/how-to-be-a-gp-trainer/

The training programme to become a clinical supervisor currently involves a two-day course and takes place several times per year. The GP trainer course involves undertaking a PGCert with the deanery (accredited with the University of Kent) and includes six teaching days covering three modules.
